Personalised wedding cards

Wedding season is starting as spring approaches and the sun makes a welcome appearance, so I thought I'd show you my range of handmade personalised wedding cards. If you're off to a wedding this year then you'll probably be looking for a card to send to the happy couple. It's a really big day for them and many couples will keep all of their wedding cards, so it's worth taking a bit of time to find them the perfect card. And what could be more special than a card that's been handmade just for them, personalised with their names or the date of the wedding? So here are a few of the personalised wedding cards from the say it shop.

All of the personalised wedding cards are £2.75 (plus p+p) - click on the pictures to see more info in the say it Folksy shop.

I'm linking this post up with Handmade Monday so if you're a fan of handmade why not pop over and see what other creative peeps have been making this week.

Celebrating small achievements

When you run a micro business I think it's really important to celebrate all the little achievements and milestones. Whilst they may seem small and insignificant by comparison to larger businesses, every little thing you achieve is really important when you're growing a business from scratch. So, this week I'm celebrating because I have just sold my 100th vintage style personalised travel journal.

This is the first product I have designed that's reached 100 sales and I'm so excited to think that 100 people have been (or will be soon!) travelling across the world with one of my handmade journals keeping them company. It feels like a great endorsement of my little shop to know that 100 people would part with their hard earned cash to buy one of my journals.

Want one? Get your own travel journal with a map of where you're heading and a personalised stamp for just £10.50 plus p+p in the say it shop. They make great gifts too for anyone off on a gap year, honeymoon or special holiday.

Postage price increase

You may have heard that Royal Mail will be putting up their prices again in a couple of weeks. It's only a few pence for most UK deliveries, but unfortunately it's a bit more for international postage. So I'm afraid all of my postage prices will be increasing from Monday 24 March. Since getting some new packaging for my orders I've been charging less for delivery than it actually costs me, and now with the increased postage costs too I can't afford not to up my prices a little bit.

So, from Monday 24 March my postage prices will be:

Cards:
UK - £1.20 (additional cards 20p each)
Europe - £3.70 (additional cards 50p each)
Everywhere else -£4.50 (additional cards 80p each)

Journals:
UK - £1.60 (additional journals 50p)
Europe - £4.50 (additional journals £1.50 each)
Everywhere else - £5.50 (additional journals £3.00 each)

On the positive side, these prices are still pretty reasonable for online shopping. I will only ever charge my customers a delivery price that reflects the actual cost of the postage and packaging materials.

Why not take advantage of the current delivery prices by placing your order now?!
