Interesting reads #4

Time for another round up of things I have been reading lately. There's quite a few businessy related articles this month as I've been trying hard to learn how to get people to visit my new website. But there's also some awesome DIYs that I really must find time to try.

How amazing do these look?

A fantastic list of really very helpful people who offer great advice on marketing.

How cool are these storage jars from Petit Elefant?

Featured on Discover Paper

Dixie Nichols from Handmade Lives gives some fantastic advice on how to improve your online shop.

Prettify your noticeboard with these quick and easy flowers from Dollar Store Crafts.

A really helpful article on getting people to sign up to your mailing list from Create Hype.

Alicia Cowan explains how to add a click to tweet button to your blog posts or emails. Must get my head around this and try it out!

One simple question you need to ask yourself. Obvious really, but somehow I'm still struggling to answer it. Let me know if you can help!

  1. Thanks for the inclusion in this excellent list of interesting reads. I am glad you enjoyed the article enough to include it and I hope it helps you out :)

From looking at your store I would think that your target market would certainly be females from the ages of 18-35 (Rough guess).

If I were you I would look for Mummy blogs or forums, since they would certainly have your target marketing frequenting regularly.

    Hope that helps :)

    Kind regards,

    Chris (AkA Chief Dodo)

    1. That's helpful, thanks Chris. I thought mummy blogs would be best for advertising products for children, but of course they are still women and don't just buy children's things when they become mums! Will hunt some out and give it a go :-)
